Overview
At the end of 2017 the first Thruster F Falcon (Blue Falcon) shocked the market and became a pioneering Victor attack racket — unique three-stage frame mixing stability and speed. Nearly seven years on, Thruster F Falcon Ultra redefines "Falcon" with Victor's thinnest 5.8 mm shaft (without paint).
Design and official tech
Paint follows Black Gold Falcon family but with bolder orange-red accents on deep black high-gloss body; light brown side panels add elegance. TK-F and METALLIC lettering, gold lightning lines, laser logo, and visible alloy-carbon shaft texture signal flagship aggression. Alloy carbon fibre: alloy imported into Pyrofil carbon on the shaft — solid, fast, elastic feel. 5.8 mm ultra-thin shaft: short sharp power hard and snappy; easier defence counter-borrow; strong whip and continuous downward press. Classic Falcon setup: three-stage structure, even-head frame, large sweet area, suspended core handle.
First impressions versus Black Gold Falcon
5.8 mm inner shaft is the biggest upgrade — not just numbers but major elasticity gain. Head weight clearly higher, yet head wind-cut keeps swing weight moderate: obvious static drop, very agile in play. Large frame and sweet spot give solider hit; shaft elasticity adds energy — deeper clears.
Control
Thin shaft bends easily, returns force fast — stability holds. Large sweet spot adds forgiveness and hold. Net spin, drop, lift remain top level; rear slice and reverse slice use frame wrap well. Alloy carbon gives clear feedback; push and lift accurate with slight speed gain over Black Gold Falcon.
Mid-front court and defence
Heavier head adds power; low swing weight adds agility. On drives the shuttle feels shot out rather than only driven; shaft snaps head back for chains — flat drive level rises a step with less motion. Defence improves: easy splits, instant attack-defence flips, excellent borrow on receive-kill lifts. Soft block and receive drop need lighter touch — Black Gold Falcon users should reduce force slightly. Passive limited-angle returns still decent — escape much improved.
Attack
Versus Black Gold Falcon, attack clearly stronger — head weight, shaft elasticity, almost all-round upgrade. Thin shaft stores energy; stronger press and heavier smash. Even without WES whip system, shaft whip and loud metallic alloy sound impress — returning to non-alloy frames feels like dropping from 120 Hz to 60 Hz. Objectively Thruster F Falcon Ultra is not classic violent attack — it is balanced attack with more speed. Spot kill, soft press, and fast attacks gain with less wrist load — huge burst threat. Full-power heavy smash can feel insufficient if you already swing extremely fast: when swing speed exceeds a point, frame elastic potential lags body power. Low threshold helps all levels but caps ceiling slightly. Thinner shaft trades some anti-torsion for elastic feel — worth it for most players.
Summary
Versus Black Gold Falcon, Thruster F Falcon Ultra is essentially full upgrade — head weight adds attack but shaft elasticity and feel are the main story. Control good; burst clearly higher; defence and passive ability improve hugely; mid flat drive and burst excellent; rear full smash still has room to grow. Low entry, balanced character — recommended all levels.
