Bladex 900 New 4U G6: empty balance ~298 mm, play ~297 mm; L67 Quick at 27 lb. Nanoflare 1000 Z as the long-term Yonex reference — similar small-head / long-shaft layout, thin-wing aero section. 900 New adds a lower-frame sword-groove stabilizer the 1000 Z does not copy wholesale.
First feel
900 New arrives firmer overall, with crisp upper-frame spring. 1000 Z reads softer and more compliant as a whole. 900 New is not “only hard” — there is snap — but the tone is quicker and less wrapped than 1000 Z’s comfort band. Retail 900 New units feel a notch more approachable than some launch demos that played stiffer.
Attack and mid-court
1000 Z shaft whip bends more obviously, borrows easier, and lowers continuous smash entry. 900 New hits crisper and harder; small head plus longer leverage arm aids whip, but the brittle spring means large bend under passive load is less forgiving. Rear press on 900 New can feel close to Halbertec 9000’s clean “pop.” Mid-front is where 900 New pulls ahead — swing speed can outrun rushed timing (frame misses happen). Defence lifts on the small hard head scored lower for me than on 1000 Z.

Choose 900 New for hard-fast doubles pointing, higher swing speed, and Li-Ning’s firm small-head attack. Choose 1000 Z for softer overall tone, easier borrow, and continuous smash entry. 900 New: attack pop, accuracy, speed. Tax: passive drive frames and defensive forgiveness.
