Context
AxForce 90 Dragon Max ships as Dragon (blue) and Tiger (red) colourways at flagship price. Marketing treats them as a pair; buyers still ask which blank to keep. Treat this as colourway + QC guidance, not two different models like AxForce 90 New.
Feel split from lineage notes
Across AxForce 70 / 80 / 90 Max sessions, Tiger Max’s face hardness sits nearer AxForce 70’s hard-straight bed — crisp, direct, still below Dragon Max’s extreme. Dragon Max pushes the hard-straight, high-pointing, high-stamina end of the pair: smaller forgiveness window, stronger “iron” collision, more session tax. Tiger is the slightly more usable sibling for players who liked firm AxForce feedback without emptying the tank as fast.
Practical buy notes
Weigh and flex several blanks if the shop allows — empty weight and balance scatter matters as much as paint. Pick Dragon if you specifically want the hardest Max character and can drive 6.2 mm all session. Pick Tiger if you want Max materials with a face closer to 70’s firmness and a bit more match stamina. Neither replaces AxForce 90 New’s sugar continuity.
