Overview

AxForce 100 Gen 1 launched as Li-Ning’s brochure “offensive peak”: fluid box, 72-hole bed, ultra-fine shaft marketing (6.0 mm class stories alongside M50 stacks), heavy head, champagne-gold kirin paint. On court it is a high-swing-weight singles attack tool that is easier to bend than Astrox 100ZZ for many hands — still demanding, and the “peak” label drew fair arguments about shaft hardness versus price.

Feel

Head inertia is immediate but controllable — not wild. Shaft marked medium-hard on 4U; drive is smoother than 100ZZ For me, with clear deformation on big swings. Bed is stable and solid; concentration is less extreme than ZF II / 100ZZ tiny heads — intentional forgiveness. Net and drop control can feel “anchored,” with honest angle feedback. Flat-drive rhythm suffers when pace rises — long preparation and torso drive show up; handle length (~215 mm with cone) does not fully fix mid-court haste. Defence: high lifts OK when set; quality drops fast once rushed. Smash ceiling is real when you earn space — heavy and intimidating — but practice-kill confidence often exceeds match availability.

Who it suits

Advanced attackers who want Gen 1’s heavy-head Li-Ning flagship and can live with stamina and mid-court tax. Skip if you need Gen 2’s wider audience, 90 New sugar, or 100ZZ’s harder tiny-head extreme. Marketing said peak; many club hands read it as a softer-entry peak than the name — still not a beginner frame.
