Overview
Today, I am updating my time in this world for the first time in a long time. It took nine months since Factory B announced at the beginning of the year that it would create a mythical beast series this year, and now it has finally completed the last piece of the mythical beast puzzle - Xuanwu. What makes me more gratified is that the mythical beast series seems to have been updating its technology. In addition to using different frame types, different softness and hardness, and different swing weights as distinctions, it will also adopt new materials at any time to keep pace with the times. Xuanwu is the only racket in the Mythical Beast series that uses boron fibre to support the shaft. Although the English name of this racket, "Big Turtle", has been used by me privately to complain about Bo Li's low cultural level, but I can say responsibly that this is another great racket. Parameters: 4UG5, bottomed, playing weight 97.92g, balance point 298mm, shaft length 220mm, moderate to high hardness, box frame, 76-hole wire bed, 9-3 point string groove, 30-Lb warranty, threading 25-27lbs KT66F. That's right, Boli has returned to its familiar dark primer paint, and just when I was about to continue to criticise the art department, I decided to stop it - I have to say that although the colour selection this time is not eye-catching, it is on point, and the paint quality is good. The metallic grey-blue is more restrained due to the semi-matt paint treatment, and echoes the theme of "Xuanwu" with the blue at 4 and 8 o'clock on the frame. There are still some Chinese element decorations on the racket frame, and the golden font on the shaft is even brighter. The visual convergence effect makes the whole shot look low-key and capable, without giving people wrong information. For the swing weight of the racket, you can refer to the 1982 B149 series of the same specifications. The balance point of the entire racket is considered to be a bit higher among Boli products, but it appears to be more moderate when actually swinging. The frame type is our old friend. It ensures a stable racket surface and improves torsion resistance while reducing wind resistance by lowering the windward surface and rounding it. Therefore, although some people said that Xuanwu is a professional equipment before its release, it is still very easy to use for players with certain basic skills in actual use. The moderate head weight and long shaft make it easier for the user to use force to hit the deformation of the shaft. Meanwhile, the good elasticity of the shaft and the larger sweet spot of the racket surface also provide very favorable support for the speed of the ball and the forgiveness rate. Although this should be the sixth time that the boron fibre mid-pole has been mentioned, it has a different interpretation on the Xuanwu. At least the same mid-pole is comparable to or surpasses it in hardness. The only one left is the J20 Steel Wing, and the latter is more about the feedback stiffness brought by the short mid-pole. When it comes to the "hard and elastic" feeling, Xuanwu is unique in that it is not sloppy, so I have to use a general analogy to describe it - this is a harder Demon Slayer 3. So, isn't Xuanwu very happy? It sure feels great! Faster ball response, more direct hitting feedback, and clearer communication between the person and the racket are all tempting me to chase the pleasure by more obeying the power of Libido. In the high harmony of directivity and elasticity, it not only determines where to hit, but also hits faster. The most obvious effect is reflected in the flat golf. Against average opponents, even in doubles, a quick shot over the top can solve many problems. I have seen several players luckily hope that it will go out of bounds and let it go. The result is that the ball hits the small square without any bias. In this case, why not give full play to its characteristics and use it to defeat others? I did indeed do this, and Xuanwu can indeed withstand more concentrated bursts. The sound effect of hitting the sweet spot with force is quite explosive, just like the Ghost Slayer Sword. What burst out together with the sound was a ball head with high speed, which shot straight into the opponent's half. the adjustment in swing weight and hardness will not make Xuanwu unable to hold down the ball like Zi Yan 3, so I can feel more confident about getting the original pleasure. Of course, the changes in swing weight and hardness also make the racket more effective in blood-sucking, which is a gain and a loss. Anyway, I think it is very cost-effective. But I’m also a little confused. The official propaganda says that boron fibre only improves the strength of the mid-pole. Why can it produce such an obvious gain in its elasticity? Although the racket frame is rounded and narrow, Xuanwu does not have much speed attribute. After falling into a fast-paced competitive games, using Xuanwu to deal with passive feelings will be more satisfactory. A slightly harder adjustment is of course very comfortable when handling active balls, but it places higher demands on the user in passive or flat-blocking situations where full force cannot be exerted. The passive handling here is not just a backhand or a catch. In fact, in the process of forming a defensive position and receiving a kill, the racket's use of force to return to the top is very good, and it can often disrupt the opponent's rhythm through sudden side separations. And as long as there is enough time and the arc of the ball is high, the backhand high ball can still be fully escaped by taking advantage of the extraordinary elasticity of the racket. Even if you catch the ball after being chased or passing the ball after being caught by the opponent or grabbing the net, I's level is often unable to catch the ball and there is not so much room. If you don't play so aggressively, you can even consider using Xuanwu to catch fish. Firstly, the shooting surface is large. When squatting in the frontcourt in doubles, a soft block and a hook can often win opportunities for teammates to actively press down. Secondly, it has good flexibility. If you encounter a ball that you don't know how to handle, you can directly bounce it into the backcourt and defend with one shot, so you have enough confidence that you can shoulder it. The delicate operation of the mesh port will make it easier to hit the ball higher due to the elasticity of the racket surface. Be sure to add some rubbing movements. Okay, "You are all my wings" is boring for me to say anymore. This is the only mythical beast that has received the bonus of boron fibre, and it has brought a big hit to this series. You should read the ending of the issue where I wrote about Ziyan 3. The difference is that Xuanwu is a harder and more stable option. It can’t be said to be guaranteed to make money, and the compensation will definitely not be paid.
